I started breakfast off with mon ami at Mon Ami Gabi! Girls trip, early flight, and an eventful day ahead called for a much needed breakfast. Based on location and reviews, I chose to make reservations at Mon Ami Gabi. The restaurant is French inspired with a massively spacious indoor area to sit as well as their infamous patio seating. Check in has two options--walk in for patio only or going inside the restaurant for reservations walk in for indoor dining. We made reservations for indoor but were kindly offered the option for a patio with a minimal wait time. The patio was well worth it, it reminded us of cafes in Paris since we got to people watch and enjoy the summer weather. Service by our waiter was more than amazing, he truly had our best interest for us--checking on my restrictions, alerting chefs, and giving me a complimentary dessert. We were both amazed by the courteous service! Being at a French inspired restaurant, of course I had to get the Ham and Cheese Crepe but with no cheese. The crepe was ginormous, very filling with the amount of protein, and an interesting twist since it was a buckwheat crepe (used for savory crepes)! It was great at filling us up but I felt like some flavors were lacking. My friend enjoyed the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict. We also shared the Brioche Toast which came with creamy butter and a sweet fruit jam. The slices were fluffy and big, but being so full I wasn't able to finish my piece. Being my birthday month, our waiter surprised me with a Chocolate Mousse. My friend said it was the best mousse she's had--light, airy, and a sweet chocolate. Mon Ami Gabi is a popular spot off the strip for breakfast and dinner. Located in Paris, reservations are recommended and easily done online. Lots of my friends have dined here so I'm glad I got to try it out too!
Every year when we come to Vegas we make sure to eat breakfast at Mon Ami the Paris Hotel. We always sit outdoors to enjoy the wonderful weather and atmosphere. The service is always amazing never having to ask for more water or coffee. The food is simply amazing!
First time for me to try this great place. Showed up early and sat at the bar until the rest of our party showed up. Our bartender had great knowledge of the menu and made some great suggestions for us. She also allowed us to try a few lines to pair for dinner. We started the night off with the shrimp cocktail, bake goat cheese, chicken liver mousse. Shrimp were jumbo and very tasty. Hard to mess them up. Chicken liver mouse was actually quite tasty with the baguette and pickled veggies. The hands down winner in my book is the backed goat cheese..... holy crap people. Why is it not on menu. I wanted to lick the bowl clean. Cote de boufe 22 oz bone in ribeye was the only choice for dinner! I mean there were other options but this called to me. Steak was cooked perfectly, had a great sauce on it. You just cant beat a bone in ribeye with the flavor. The "special in house frites" were meh.... Lacked salt and frankly if I am having fries I want bigger cuts. Not tiny pieces I have to use a fork with. Overall excellent place with a great view of the Bellagio fountain. The place is a little on the noisy side so just know that going in...
My friend did some research and saw that this was a popular spot. As such, she cleverly made reservations in advance which were especially useful since there was a line even at 9 am. Between the three of us we split the Ham & Cheese Crepe, Blueberry Waffle and French Toast. Both the French toast and waffles came with a side of whip cream and fresh, delicious, blueberry syrup on the side. The crepe was savory and served with thick slices of bacon that resembled jerky (I'm more of a in between chewy and crispy kind of gal). The waffles were mini and crispy. French toast were thick slices of brioche and were only slightly dry since they were so thick. Overall, we had a good experience. We walked out satisfied with the portions. We had an experienced and proficient waiter. It is a classically French inspired restaurant which perfectly matches the theme of the Paris hotel. The location is ideal if you're already on the strip looking for a good meal. I'd like to come back and try their lunch/dinner options in the future!
This place is a great choice for a brunch or lunch on the Strip! I highly recommend the escargot, but the salmon and French toast are delicious as well. It's got a great patio area and feels like you're actually in a lil French restaurant. Food comes out fast and you're served with baguette as an appetizer! Can't say no to fresh bread!
Mon Ami Gabi, a restaurant at the Paris Las Vegas, has good hours that make it attractive for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I had a reservation for 2:00 pm, but came in before 1:00 pm. I was seated immediately. There were more empty seats inside, but since I was dining solo, my request to sit outside was fulfilled. I had a lovely table adjacent to the side walk, a perfect locale to watch the Vegas revelers go by. The amuse bouche came first. It was shredded carrots with chives and oil. Truly superb. I then ordered a baguette, which came with butter (how could I miss this combination). I asked the logical question, was it French butter?... and was curtly told it was whipped butter. Since I like cutting my bread before buttering it, the supplied butter knife did not do it. So I asked for a sharper knife. I was rudely told to tear the bread apart like the French. Excuse me (and by the way, I have been to Paris, France, albeit over 25 years ago :). Apart from the server, what was disappointing was that the bread was pretty hard and at ambient temperature (it is advertised as warm). Either way, I enjoyed small pieces of it over an hour with the butter (and more butter), and a beverage. With French music in the background, outside seating is the place to be, and be seen. My server was visibly annoyed when I asked for the check. Apart from having other plans, it was also getting close to check in time.
BACKGROUND: At least once a year, I do my own version of a Las Vegas Half Marathon by walking from Fremont Street in DTLV to the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Garden via the Arts District (Main Street) and Las Vegas Boulevard. After touring the garden, I walk across the street for lunch or dinner at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. Then, I walk back downtown on the opposite side of Las Vegas Boulevard. The walk itself is about 10 miles roundtrip, and I log an additional 3-4 miles from walking around exploring the nooks and crannies of Las Vegas. I did my 2024 "Las Vegas Half Marathon" on Friday, May 10th! REVIEW: I'm a huge fan of Mon Ami Gabi! I love that their menu is loaded with whole foods--six entree salads, a vegetarian entree option, salmon, trout, etc.--and the views and people watching from their patio are top notch. During my most recent dining experience, I saw the Fountains of Bellagio show 3-4 times; it's directly across the street. There was also a street performer nearby and a steady stream of pedestrians and vehicles passing by that provided additional entertainment for the evening. For my meal, I order the Little Gem salad with grilled chicken. It was scrumptious and had many elements of one of my favorite salads (Apple Walnut Cranberry Salad) minus the apples. In my experience, the salads here are always a home-run! The service was also superb. Everyone I encountered was professional yet personable, and their entire team did a great job of anticipating my needs. My server also informed me that Mon Ami Gabi is part of the Lettuce Entertain You restaurant group, and you can download their app to collect dining points, which was great to know since I have been eating at their restaurants for years.
AU POIVRE STEAK FRITE with brandy peppercorn sauce. Strong 8 out of 10. Sat in outside patio, with excellent view of the Bellagio water show.
Came here on a Thursday for lunch with reservations at 12. The reservations are for inside seating only. I waited an additional 20 min to get a seat outside. Tomato soup with cheese and garlic bread- 5/5: The soup was really creamy and the cheese mixed in was so good. The bread was on the harder side. Must get!! It's not on the menu so you have to ask the server. Wild Escargots de Bourgogne- 4/5: First time trying snails and was pleasantly surprised! Each snail was soaking inside butter oil and they were so tender. The bread in this dish was incredibly hard. Worth trying! Trout Almondine- 4/5: The fish was a pretty decent size. It was soft and even better with lemon drizzled on top. The green beans were also soft. Le Cubano- 4/5: The sandwhich had good flavor and came with fries on the side.
